Local drafts
The editor stores your current draft in browser localStorage so it can recover after a refresh. This data is not uploaded by default. Clearing this site’s browser data removes the local draft.
File imports and job-description analysis
JSON, text, DOCX, and PDF reading and job-description keyword analysis happen in your browser. Parsing may be incomplete, so review every field.
AI generation and rewriting
Your current resume, additional instructions, and job description are sent to the configured AI service only when you choose to generate suggestions. Suggestions appear as a before-and-after review and are written to the resume only after you approve them. Facts such as numbers and dates are checked again before application. To measure cost and monthly allowances, the server records the task type, model, input and output token counts, time, and a random visitor identifier; resume text is not stored in usage records.
Cloud saves and read-only sharing
Resume content is stored in the cloud only when you choose Cloud save or Share. Cloud resumes support continued editing in your account. Sharing creates a read-only snapshot that expires after 30 days by default. Anyone with the link may view it, so do not share information you want to keep private.
Orders and payments
When you purchase Pro, the order email, plan, amount, currency, order status, and payment-provider identifiers are used to create the order, apply membership benefits, and handle refunds. Waffo Pancake handles checkout, taxes, and receipts. ResumePlot AI does not receive or store complete payment-card details.
Feedback and referrals
Feedback submissions store the display name, role, content, and signed-in identity. Referral links record the referral code, visitor identifier, and time; they do not read resume content.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand page visits, traffic sources, device types, and product events such as registration, checkout, payment, AI usage, and file export. Analytics events do not include email addresses, resume text, job descriptions, or payment-card information. Google may process browser identifiers and cookies; you can limit or clear them in your browser settings.
Deletion and contact
Clear local drafts in the editor or through browser site-data settings. Cloud resumes and share links can be deleted early from your account; deletion does not affect files already downloaded to your device. For privacy or data requests, email support@resumeplot.com.
